Review: Skin79 Rose Moisture Mask

While browsing around Pretty&Cute, I noticed Skin79 had come out with some new masks and as soon as I saw the rose one I just knew I needed it! It smells like roses and the product contains small pieces of rose petals in it. So luxurious! The Sales Associate there mentioned if I liked it to rush back in ASAP as Skin79 was discontinuing it due to the costs. Apparently the cost of the ingredients wasn't very cost effective for the type of product? It seems to be available only on Pretty&Cute right now which is such a bummer!

I stopped by Pretty&Cute while getting some groceries and saw this was on sale (box was dinged up) and grabbed it.

I'm a huge fan of Skin79's facial masks, bb creams and cleansers so when I saw this in the "damaged" section of Pretty&Cute I knew I just had to get it! Their damaged section applies to the box, which you can see in the photos. I never see an issue with saving a few dollars due to the package being a bit dinged! 

Review: Skin79 Lemon Brightening Mask

Every time I go into Pretty&Cute it seems they are expanding their Skin79 line, which makes me super happy as I love their wash off, "Home Self Spa Masks." Now, when I'm there I always check out their "Clearance" section isn't the same as on their site. This area seems to be for products that have damaged packaging, or at least that's what it looks like to me. I love it as there's always something for a few dollars less for a dent in the box. Does that affect the actual product? NO. I LOVE IT. So, I bought this one at $13.50, which is only $1.50 less, but still! It's always a good idea to check the clearance or damaged sections in your stores!

I like to visit Reddit a bit and browse around the Asian Beauty subreddit to see the latest and greatest that my fellow bloggers and like minded people have picked up. It's a wonderful place for information, swatches, reviews and hauls. If you've got a question please head on over and check it out! It's filled with wonderful girls and boys who just love...well, Asian Beauty! It's not just makeup, although who doesn't love a billion BB creams? No, no, it's also filled with skincare and advice on how to use the item, which step it would be in and how often you should use it. Of course, we're not doctors but just people who have experimented with a LOT of regimens. Some of us have found our holy grail items while others are still on the prowl.

Now, the number one thing I tend to notice on this subreddit is that a lot of people are asking what kind of BB creams would be great for them on pale skin. I tend to think I'm fairly pale as I always have to grab the lightest shade and hope it works out for me. Also, not all of these have worked for me but they're just the ones I've purchased and haven't given away, or ones I do truly like. Again, I'm about NW15 in MAC foundations and concealers and I have dry skin.

Also, I've included some well known foundations, besides just BB creams, that we can get in the US so if you see one you wear and it's the same color you can look to see how it would wear. I know it's not a perfect system but it does help to see if that color would look great on you or not if you're similar coloring to me :)

Review: Skin79 SeaWeed Cooling Mask

Now, I'm usually pulled into buying a product for the amazing ingredients, the need for it, or even an awesome SA doing their job. Well...this one just looked nifty. Yup. I said it. I bought this and the Rose mask because they looked cool. This one as it's a bright blue see-through gel, and the rose because it had petals inside it...childish? Perhaps.
